CLO Experts was founded in August 2015 by Rick Harrison Underwood. Disillusioned with working for traditional consultancies, he knew there had to be a better way to help clients achieve their goals.  When the timing was right, CLO Experts was formed and today the Experts at CLO are happy to offer their industry precedent services and commitment to their clients.

Rick Harrison is a legal operations industry expert and trusted advisor to many of the world’s largest companies. He is passionate about conceptualizing innovative and unique solutions, and leading his clients to operational excellence. He works tirelessly helping his clients develop strategies and roadmaps and implementing processes and systems that achieve tangible results.

With over 22 years of industry experience, Rick Harrison is recognized as an ELM and international eBilling expert. Through his management and executive roles at Huron Consulting, Wolter Kluwer ELM, FTI Consulting, Mitratech, in-house at ADP for 5 years, and Founding Partner of CLO Experts (formerly Brickell Global), he has worked with nearly 225 corporate legal departments to implement solutions in over 165 countries. This experience has provided him with unique insights into the global corporate legal operations landscape.

An avid traveler and foodie, Rick Harrison is constantly on the go. When not talking international taxes or legal operations, he can be found trying to discover new places and new foods. He’s been to 5 continents with plans to add a 6th later this year. His goal is a trip to the 7th, Antarctica, for his 50th birthday. And if you know him and the focus and dedication he takes with his clients, you know that’s gonna happen!

“I believe in challenging the status quo as well as preconceived “best practice” standards.  CLO Experts excels at getting to the clients critical data that will realize the most valuable operational, financial and technological results for not only current needs but the future as well.”
